Galeries Lafayette Berlin is a famous Gay Shopping Mall in Berlin Mitte. It is directly on the Friedrichstraße in the Quartier 207. After seemingly endless demolition, building, excavation and cleanup work, the Galeries Lafayette put the first spot of colour to the old and new shopping mile Friedrichsstrasse. The light, elegant glass temple is different from the usual Berlin block construction. It was designed by architect Jean Nouvel. Today it has become a major public attraction. Here you can feel French lifestyle in Berlin.
Galeries Lafayette has a sales area of 8000 m² on five floors. The house offers on four floors international fashion for women, men and children, accessories, shoes and a nursing spa for men only. The Lafayette Gourmet, located on the ground floor, is a gourmet section, which mainly has French delicacies. There is also a department for table culture (arts de la table) and a French bookshop.
